Before listing
The official DET permit service requires registration and approval before listing apartments and villas. Confirm the unit identity, responsible operator and any relevant building arrangements.
During operation
Use the current authority guidance to confirm guest-registration records, Tourism Dirham treatment, safety requirements, classification and renewal tasks. Maintain an organised record of approvals, guest-related filings, charges and operational incidents. Do not rely on an old article for a current fee schedule.
Agree who does what
Identify who handles filings, guest enquiries, emergencies, maintenance approvals and insurance administration. Put responsibilities in writing and retain supporting invoices and records. Consult the relevant authority or adviser where the obligation is unclear.
